Joe and Amalia Lazzerini, owners of Glasgow’s two Loveable Rogue restaurants, have bought Sur Lie restaurant on Nithsdale Road, in the trendy Strathbungo/Pollokshields area.
With successful Loveable Rogues already operating in both the west and east ends of the city, the couple have indicated that their new Strathbungo premises will undergo a complete refurbishment and open at the end of June as the Loveable Rogue south side.
The off-market deal was brokered by Smith & Clough on behalf of its client Alan Tomkins who owns a number of Glasgow bars and restaurants, including Vroni’s, Malo, and Ralph & Finns.
