Established Outer Hebrides hotel business is on the market

If you’ve ever considered relocating to the Outer Hebrides, the sale of the County Hotel in Stornoway could be the perfect opportunity.

The 17-bedroom hotel – which is described as having a ‘roaring food and beverage business’ – is said to attract a mixture of locals and tourists.

The property includes an open-plan bar area which serves a variety of beers, whiskies and cocktails, a lounge bar, which currently offers customers a selection of pub grub, and a function room which caters to events as well as acting as a private dining space.

There’s also a two bedroom owners flat.

The hotel’s interior is said to ‘seamlessly blend traditional features with modern fixtures and fittings’.
