Scottish oat-based cream liqueur brand Panther M*lk has followed its very successful off-trade launch with a bout of high level drinks industry recruitment to bolster its commercial division.
Former head of brand at Tennent’s Lager and Irn-Bru, Neil Mowat, will now lead Panther M*lk’s marketing operations, whilst Paul Miller, fresh from the sale of his Eden Mill brand, joins to offer overall commercial leadership to the team.
Miller has over three decades of international drinks industry experience, including senior roles with Molson Coors, Glenmorangie and IDV/Diageo, before he founded and led Eden Mill. He has also held key industry roles as director of the Scottish Government and Alcohol Industry Partnership and chair of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association.
Mowat recently oversaw UK marketing for the Ian Macleod Distillers portfolio, having built extensive marketing expertise in brand leadership roles with both Tennent Caledonian Breweries and AG Barr.
Panther M*lk founder Paul Crawford said: “We are thrilled to welcome Neil Mowat and Paul Miller to the Panther M*lk family. Their remarkable track records and wealth of experience within the drinks industry are invaluable assets to our rapidly expanding commercial division.
“With their leadership, we are confident in our ability to further establish Panther M*lk as a pioneering force in the market. Our commitment to delivering a delicious and environmentally conscious product remains unwavering, and we look forward to continuing to delight consumers with our innovative oat drink-based alcohol.
He concluded: “Together, with Neil and Paul leading the way, we are poised to elevate the Panther M*lk experience for cocktail enthusiasts, ensuring a creamy vegan indulgence for all.”
