tequilaBuilding on the popularity of its authentic premium tequila, Bandero Blanco, which launched in 2019, Bandero is extending its range to meet the demand for authentic Mexican tequila infused with the best of coffee.
Bandero Café is a small batch tequila made using the finest Blue Weber Agave, matured for seven years in the red clay soil of Jalisco’s Los Altos Highlands in Mexico, then infused with notes of fresh roasted coffee, chocolate and vanilla.
Its makers see it as filling the gap left when Bacardí, to the dismay of many cafe tequila lovers, called time on the Patrón XO Cafe brand.
Bandero creator Jonathan Kendrick said “We see a great opportunity in the UK to offer consumers a better choice of premium tequilas and both Bandero Café and Blanco are exceptional in their own right. They are meant to be sipped and savoured, allowing the intricate flavours created by being twice distilled to come through. I am excited to see these products grow in popularity and see these brands go from strength to strength.”
Bandero Café is now available to buy on Revl and has already secured its first national listing across all Be At One bars, owned by Stonegate Group, and will be available for customers to purchase from mid-October.
Stonegate operations director, Sarah Miller, said: “Bandero Café truly is a remarkable liquor. Having had the luxury of sampling it ahead of launch in the UK, I am delighted that Be At One bars will be pouring it first. It really is filling a gap in the market and is a fantastic premium tequila. I cannot wait to see what my bartenders and mixologists create with it.”
