A HUSBAND and wife team have put their Glasgow restaurant on the market after twelve years of ownership.
Ian and Sheila Brown have run Ian Brown Food & Drink in Glasgow’s southside for over a dozen years, with chef Ian having previously worked at the renowned Ubiquitous Chip.
The leasehold to the 40-cover restaurant is now on the market for offers over £75,000, with annual rent of £22,500.
Alan Goldie of The Restaurant Agency, who is marketing the business on behalf of the Browns, said the restaurant “has all the ingredients for a new operator to walk in and tap in to a large following of established customers and an ability to re-brand and trade straight away given the high standard of fixtures and fittings”.
