AN ‘experienced, ambitious hotelier’ is being sought to take on a 17-bedroom hotel in Orkney.
The Standing Stones in Stenness includes a large bar/restaurant with capacity for 100 covers, a lounge, commercial kitchen and 250-capacity function room.
In June 2020 the hotel was granted planning permission for a 20-bedroom extension.
“This is a great opportunity to acquire a successful, busy and readily managed hotel which, as a result of its unique location, is itself something of a landmark, and is known by reputation across much of the world,” said Margaret Mitchell of selling agent DM Hall.
The company is seeking offers over £675,000 for the The Standing Stones, which includes the property, fixtures and fittings.
