KBE Drinks, the company behind Indian beer brand Kingfisher, is eyeing the cocktails market with the launch of a new cream liqueur.
5 Walla is a 17% ABV cream liqueur made with chai tea blended with rum, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, ginger and vanilla.
KBE innovation manager, Tom Elliot Frey, said the company hopes the new product will encourage new customers to try chai for the first time “as well as hopefully inspiring bartenders to use it as an exciting addition to their cocktail recipes”.
