OLD Jamaica Ginger Beer is set to make its draught debut after soft drinks giant Vimto Out Of Home announced it is to become the exclusive post-mix distributor for the brand.
This month sees Old Jamaica Ginger Beer join Vimto Out Of Home’s line-up of post-mix juices, mixers and carbonates, which includes Vimto, Sunkist, Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Irn-Bru.
James Nichols, commercial controller at Vimto Out Of Home, which is part of Nichols plc, said Old Jamaica Ginger Beer is a refreshing soft drink in its own right, a “perfect mixer for rum” and can be used in a range of cocktails, making it a “valuable addition to the post-mix offer”.
“Enjoyed on its own or as part of a mixed drink or cocktail, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer is set to fire up the post-mix market and help our customers maximise their sales this summer and beyond,” he said.
“We believe that with our expertise and support behind it, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer will be able to reach its full potential in the UK on-trade and be a very popular choice with UK consumers.”
