FANS of both whisky and golf will be able to raise a glass to the 150th Open this month, thanks to Loch Lomond Whiskies.

The company has launched two limited edition single malts to commemorate the landmark 150th year of the tournament, which takes place this month in St Andrews.

The Open Special Edition 2022 was aged in American oak and finished in red wine barriques from Bordeaux. It has been bottled at 46% ABV and priced at ÂŁ45 a bottle.

Both whiskies were created in conjunction with famous golfer Colin Montgomerie, with his signature appearing on the bottles.

“At Loch Lomond Whiskies we are very proud to show our support as the official spirit partner of this momentous anniversary.

“Our two new, limited edition single malts are highly valuable additions to our whisky portfolio, demonstrating the breadth of distillation techniques Loch Lomond Whiskies is capable of.

“We’re confident both expressions will appeal to a variety of tastes, budgets and interests.”
