THE first alcohol-free beer from Italian brand Menabrea has been launched.
De-alcoholised rather than brewed to 0% ABV, Menabrea Zero Zero is described as a premium alcohol-free lager beer with a “finely-balanced taste and excellent, compact foam”.
Initially launched in the on-trade, Menbrea Zero Zero is available in 330ml bottle format from distributors including from distributors including Delitalia, Bibendum, Matthew Clark and Tennent Caledonian Breweries.
Angus Lawrie, head of premium brands at C&C Group, which counts Menabrea in its stable, said: “We are delighted to now be able to offer an alcohol-free alternative, for those who want to enjoy the great taste of Italy’s most stylish serve, but with 0% ABV.
