THE Loch Earn Brewery & Hotel in the Perthshire village of St Fillans has changed hands within four months of coming on to the market.
Located on the banks of Loch Earn, the C-listed Victorian property comprises 38 guest rooms, three bar and restaurant areas and a loch-side beer garden. The grounds are also home to two breweries, which were run by previous owner, Arran Brewery, which purchased the hotel in 2013.
Tony Spence, business agent in Christie & Co’s hospitality team who handled the sale to a private investor for an undisclosed sum, said the new owner plans to carry out “extensive refurbishments” of the property.
