Operators have the chance to win £4000
OPERATORS have the chance to win a £4000 prize through a new competition from soft drinks brand Sanpellegrino.
The competition, which launched on 1st June and runs until 31st August, is open to any operator who purchases a 24x330ml case of one of the Sanpellegrino Tastefully Light ‘core’ flavours – Limonata, Aranciata or Aranciata Rossa – and enters via text.
One operator will win the grand prize of £4000, with six runners-up each receiving £100. They also have the option to receive branded point of sale material for their venue.
“We know how challenging the last 12 months have been for foodservice and catering operators, but with the government’s plans to relax restrictions over the coming months, we anticipate the summer will be a crucial and busy time for the channel,” said Severine Hemms, shopper marketing manager at Nestle Waters, owner of Sanpellegrino.
“To offer our support as they open their doors once again, we have launched a competition that allows operators to be in with a chance of winning a much-deserved summer bonus and complimentary point of sale tools to drive shopper demand.
“We’re offering operators the chance to tap into this demand for greater breadth of premium flavoured drinks with a 360 integrated campaign.
“Operators simply need to purchase a case of core flavours Sanpellegrino Tastefully Light to have access to great deals on cases of our more exotic flavours. It really is a win-win for operators and we hope they will benefit from this support we’re offering.”
Sanpellegrino recently introduced a smaller 12x330ml case size for its Melograna & Arancia, Pompelmo and Limone & Menta variants, which it says enables operators to offer the breadth of choice that consumers are looking for. Limonata, Aranciata and Aranciata Rossa will remain available to wholesale in 24x330ml case size.
