Four-star inn with superb location comes onto market
A HIGHLAND hotel located where the ‘Great Glen Road’ meets the ‘Road to the Isles’ has come onto the books of property firm Graham & Sibbald.
The Invergarry Hotel, which sits at the junction of the A82 and A87, is said to be “ideally located to capture business from the myriad of road travellers as well as being an excellent base to explore the Highlands”.
The property, which dates from the late 19th century, has 14 letting bedrooms, a spacious bar/brasserie, dining room and lounges. Set in around eight acres, including land fronting on to the River Garry, the Invergarry Hotel also has two detached three-bedroom houses and recently-granted planning consent for two developments: a 12-bedroom guest accommodation annex and an eight-room accommodation block.
Alistair Letham, a consultant with Graham & Sibbald, said the hotel is being sold by Nigel and Susan Robson, who “having established and developed the business are seeking to move on to new projects”.
“The Invergarry Hotel, apart from having a superb, strategic location in the Highlands, is a well-established and profitable four-star inn that has the huge benefit of the two, three-bed houses included with the hotel.
“The availability of the excellent planning consent obtained gives new owners the option to carry out this exciting development opportunity.”
Graham & Sibbald is marketing the business at offers around £1.85 million for the hotel, the two houses and eight acres of land.
