EDRINGTON-Beam Suntory has released a 21 year old expression of Highland Park for the first time in over ten years.
Bottled at 46% ABV, Highland Park 21 year old was made using six first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, four first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and five refill casks.
It is said to contain hints of grated nutmeg, root ginger and orange peel, which are balanced by notes of mango, sweet pear and vanilla.
Launched this month, the 21 year old joins the Orkney distillery’s new-look 25, 30 and 40 year old single malts.
