A NEW owner is in place at the former Sylvesters restaurant in Edinburgh in a deal brokered by The Restaurant Agency.
Located in the heart of the capital’s Newington area, the restaurant was purchased by experienced operator Faruk Mahmud, who has traded in the area previously.
Alan Goldie, director at The Restaurant Agency, said he “fully expected to see the unit grow in popularity” due to its proximity to Edinburgh University and the Festival Theatre.
The business was sold from an asking price of offers over £55,000 for the leasehold interest.
