THE Pierowall Hotel on the island of Westray in Orkney has a new owner after being sold in a deal brokered by Inverness-based property firm ASG Commercial.

The six-bedroom hotel is located in the island’s largest settlement, the village of Pierowall, and includes a 32-cover restaurant and public bar.

Jackie MacGregor, director of ASG Commercial, said: “It was a long process in getting this sale across the line but both seller and buyer stuck with it, such was the determination to get the deal done with the right buyers.”

The hotel was sold from an offers over price of ÂŁ325,000.
