Best chance in the west at city centre hotel

Best Western Glasgow City Hotel
The city centre hotel has 52 bedrooms.

A 52-bedroom hotel in the centre of Glasgow has come onto the books of Colliers International.

Comprised of two adjoining 19th century townhouses, the Best Western Glasgow City Hotel retains original architectural features from the Victorian era and has been extended to the rear over the years.

The hotel is on Elmbank Street, between the busy thoroughfares of Sauchiehall Street and St Vincent Street, and is near the Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow’s two main railway stations as well as the city’s main office areas and ‘style mile’.

Alistair Letham, a director at selling agent Colliers International, said: “The hotel is based right in the heart of Glasgow city centre, making it a convenient base from which to explore both the city and other localities of Scotland.

“The business has historically been operated on a bed and breakfast basis, which ensures ease of management and good profitability.”

Offers in the region of £3.4 million are being sought for the Best Western Glasgow City Hotel.
