A hotel just off the main route from the central belt to Aberdeen is on the market.
The Redhall Arms Hotel is in the village of Fordoun between Laurencekirk and Stonehaven near the A90.
The three-storey property has a public bar, 30-cover restaurant and function room on the ground floor, while five letting rooms are spread over the first floor and attic level.
Owner’s accommodation is currently provided in a large first floor room, which could be used as a lounge.
Alistair Nicol at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, which is marketing the property, said: “With potential for 100% rates relief, we anticipate keen interest in this hospitality opportunity in an attractive rural location that is expanding with a number of small housing schemes under development and benefits from close proximity to the A90 dual carriageway.”
Offers in excess of £240,000 are being sought for the property’s freehold. Alternatively, rental offers of £12,000 per annum will be considered.
