A NEW lease of life is set to be given to a 49-bedroom hotel just off Union Street in Aberdeen city centre after the property changed hands in a deal brokered by CDLH.
The Highland Hotel, which comprises four interconnected townhouses designed by renowned Aberdeen architect Archibald Simpson, has a bar, dining room and games room.
Alan Creevy, CDLH director, said: “The successful purchaser was a large corporate hotel operator, who intends to undertake a significant refurbishment of the property.”
Marketed for offers over £550,000, the final sales price is said to have been “significantly in excess of the asking price”.
