Operators keen to move to the Ayrshire coast may be interested in the Horizon Hotel in Ayr.
The venue, which occupies a position on the town’s esplanade, comprises 25 en suite letting bedrooms, a function suite and 80-cover Vista Restaurant & Cocktail Bar – both of which offer panoramic sea views.
Owned by operator Alan Meikle for the past 39 years, the hotel is said to have built up a “fantastic” reputation.
Josh Hill of Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said its function suite serves as a “popular destination for weddings and private parties”.
Offers in the region of £1.25 million are sought for the freehold.
