A pub in Dunoon which has been operated by the same family for nearly two decades has been sold to an “experienced hospitality investor” in a deal brokered by property firm Bruce & Co.
George Jarvie, owner of Ingrams Bar, put the pub on the market for the first time in 18 years in order to facilitate his retirement.
The investor who has purchased the pub is said to have big plans for “an extensive refurbishment and development of the bar”.
Offers in the region of £140,000 were sought for the freehold of Ingrams Bar; the final sale price was not disclosed.
