There’s still an opportunity for bartenders to enter the first cocktail competition for Highland single malt Glenfarclas.
The 105 Cask Strength Cocktail Competition challenges bartenders to create a drink using Glenfarclas 105, the distillery’s cask-strength expression, as a base.
The objective is to create a cocktail that can be replicated at Glenfarclas events, including The Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, which Glenfarclas sponsors.
Entrants should post the ingredients and method for their cocktail here.
The top ten entries will be invited to compete in heats in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, with the top two from each heat progressing to a final at the Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside.
The winner of the competition will receive a three-day apprenticeship at the distillery and a limited edition bottle of Glenfarclas.
Interested bartenders have until May 15 to enter.
