A £150,000 outdoor hydrotherapy pool has been unveiled as a major design feature at the Aura Spa within The Bowfield Hotel and Country Club in Renfrewshire.
The pool, which can accommodate up to ten people, is mosaic-tiled and covered with a solid oak pavilion, while an Italian Masiero Chandelier hangs from an overhead canopy.
Offering views of the surrounding hills and countryside, the latest addition to the hotel, which is part of the Manorview Group, will form a major part of its spa offer.
Manorview is said to have invested a total of £4 million in the venue’s redevelopment, including on its Plumpy Duck Restaurant, Stables Bar, gym and spa.
Laura Dorran, manager of the spa, said: “The outdoor hydrotherapy pool is the newest extension of our world-class Aura Spa facility at the Bowfield. We’ve already had some people test out the pool and the feedback has been great.”
