The leasehold to a “very well-presented” 77-cover restaurant on Dunblane’s High Street has come onto the market.

The restaurant, which currently trades as American-style diner and cocktail bar Monterey Jack’s, is described by selling agent Graham & Sibbald as an “exciting opportunity” for an owner operator or chef to take on a newly built premises in the heart of the town.

Spread over two levels, the restaurant consists of a 1195 sq ft ground floor and 806 sq ft mid-basement floor, with further outdoor seats allowing for 20 further covers; it is served by a large, well-equipped commercial kitchen.

Built in 2010/11 by the Dunblane Development Trust to preserve the High Street as a commercial opportunity, the venue has been operated by the Monterey Jack’s group since then.

Offers in the region of £75,000 are sought for the lease with a current passing rent of £20,000 per annum.
