TENNENT’S has announced two appointments to its senior management team at Wellpark.
Kenny Gray has been appointed to the newly created role of managing director, Scotland, while Duncan Frew has been named commercial and marketing director.
Gray formerly headed the national accounts team at wholesaler Matthew Clark, which was acquired by Tennent’s parent company C&C last year, while Frew is the founder of drinks and events agency Badaboom, which C&C acquired in 2017.
The role of managing director, Scotland, will see Gray assume responsibility for all on-trade, national and convenience business as well as the Tennent’s link to Matthew Clark in Scotland.
Frew, meanwhile, will be in charge of brand activation, the recently opened Tennent’s Story visitor centre and the Tennent’s Training Academy.
Chief operating officer Andrea Pozzi said: “These are exciting times for C&C Group, and the Tennent’s business has an incredible opportunity to build on its reputation as the gold standard for customer service, brands and digital interface.
“These additions to the team will not only bolster the senior management within the business, meeting the challenges and opportunities we face; but will allow the talent we already have to continue to focus on key areas and the excellent existing service levels we provide our customers.”
