HILTON Coylumbridge in the Highlands has changed hands after being snapped up by private hotels group Britannia Hotels.
Situated on a 65-acre estate on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Hilton Coylumbridge is described as a “well-established hotel”, which comprises 175 bedrooms, five restaurants, two bars, two heated indoor swimming pools, a soft play facility, 18-hole crazy golf course, 10-pin bowling, video game arcade, and spa facilities.
Hilton Coylumbridge represents new owner Britannia Hotels’ fifth hotel in Scotland – and is the 61st hotel in its overall portfolio.
The hotel sale was brokered by Christie & Co on behalf of global investment firm Starwood Capital; neither the asking or sale price was disclosed. Starwood Capital had purchased the hotel from an asking price of offers in excess of £8.75 million in March 2018.
