A GASTROPUB in the West Lothian town of Newton is for sale for the first time in more than three decades.
Located on the A904, the Newton Arms is said to be within easy travelling distance of Edinburgh and the towns and villages around West Lothian.
Occupying a detached property, the gastropub comprises a public bar, lounge and dining room, as well as a commercial kitchen and ancillary areas, including a cellar.
The sale is said to offer an opportunity for an owner-operator to “create a thriving gastropub”, according to Alan Goldie of The Restaurant Agency, which is marketing the freehold of the business at offers over £250,000.
He added that the business “will benefit from a new owner/operator [who is] ready to enhance the food operation and build on a large customer base”.
