INVERNESS-based property firm ASG Commercial saluted the strength of the Highland hospitality market after concluding a deal for the freehold of a Pitlochry hotel.
The selling agent completed the sale of Craigvrack Guest House, a Victorian villa which is said to occupy a “stunning elevated trading position” in the Perthshire town, from an asking price of offers over £695,000.
ASG’s commercial sales director, Paul Hart, said: “The [Highland]market remains most resilient despite the Brexit situation and the undoubted concerns of a few would-be purchasers.
“The sales of bed and breakfast businesses and small hotels remain very buoyant with strong support from lenders due to the high levels of confidence in the sector from a trading perspective.”
