TWO granite city hotels are enjoying some extra Gallic flavour this month after welcoming students from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, outside Paris.
The Carmelite Hotel and The Chester Hotel are hosting the three students as part of a scheme devised by the French school, The Aberdeen City and Shire Hotels’ Association, North East Scotland College and Aberdeen Inspired.
During their eight-week stay in Aberdeen the French students are studying at the college as well as working in the hotels. The aim is to establish a long-term exchange programme.
