Scottish cider maker Thistly Cross is on the hunt for ripe northern apples for its cider production – and is willing to pay handsomely, in the form of its own cider.
Thistly Cross’s 2018 Apple Exchange will see the cider maker trade 7kg of apple donations for a 330ml can of the firm’s cider; larger amounts can be swapped for five-litre cider boxes.
Alternatively, apples can be exchanged for a taste of Eyeball Lager to celebrate the brewer’s new premises at the Thistly Cross site in Dunbar.
