MAGNERS Dark Fruit cider has been launched in glass bottles – the format synonymous with the long-established cider brand.
The roll out of the 500ml bottles comes a year after the Dark Fruit variant, which is also available in cans and on draught, was first launched in the on-trade.
Featuring the vibrant purple labelling associated with the 4% ABV Dark Fruit variant, the glass bottles are being distributed to the on-trade by Tennent’s.
Janette Murray, group marketing manager for Irish cider at parent company C&C Group, said: “The over-ice serve from a glass bottle is iconic for Magners and certainly translates well to our Dark Fruit variant, with a great tasting refreshing drink the end result.”
