The UK’s first Radisson Red hotel has opened in Glasgow.
The 174-bedroom hotel, located next to the city’s SSE Hydro, is said to feature a bold contemporary design and the latest technology; guests can use a specially created app to manage their stays, from ordering extra pillows to chatting with other guests at the hotel.
The ground-floor OUIBar + KTCHN serves food, wine, craft beers and cocktails; while the Red Sky Bar, due to open this month, offers guests a “bird’s eye view” of Glasgow.
Richard Moore of Radisson Hotel Group said the brand is “bold and pushes the boundaries”.
