OPERATORS looking for a restaurant business may be interested in a Stirlingshire unit currently occupied by Mhor Fish.
Located in Callander, which selling agent Graham & Sibbald described as “a popular tourist town in the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park”, the business comprises a 40-cover restaurant, bar servery, commercial kitchen and store, as well as a fish and chip shop takeaway which has a separate entrance. There is also space on the first floor which the agent said is suitable for “a range of uses”, including additional seating for the restaurant.
Owned by the Mhor group (which also counts Mhor Bread, Mhor 84 and Monachyle Mhor within its portfolio) for the past 12 years, Mhor Fish is currently operated under management.
The ‘Mhor’ brand name will not be included in the sale of the restaurant.
Peter Seymour of Graham & Sibbald, which is marketing the business with a price tag of £420,000, said the space offers plenty of potential for an owner operator.
He added: “The Mhor group have decided to sell their town centre business to allow them to release equity to invest in their other businesses.
“They have owned the business for over 12 years, during which time they have maintained a high level of standards, particularly on the back of only selling fresh – not frozen – fish from the restaurant and takeaway.”
