SCOTTISH rugby icon Doddie Weir was on hand alongside Chris Gardner of licensed trade charity The Ben as Tennent’s Lager launched its charity raffle to give away the ‘Best Seat in the House’ – a six-person dugout just yards from the pitch for Scotland’s home Six Nations matches.

Winners will be joined by a Scottish rugby legend for the ‘once a lifetime’ match-day experience for games such as the Calcutta Cup clash against England on February 24.

Proceeds from the raffle will be split between The Ben and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, which was established to support and raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease: a condition which Doddie Weir is battling.

George Kyle of Tennent’s said: “The Best Seat in the House is a real money can’t buy experience, so we’re encouraging Tennent’s and rugby fans alike to dig deep to be in with a chance to win.”

Raffle tickets can be purchased at thebestseat.co.uk.
