THE Scotch Whisky industry toasted its position as the UK’s leading food and drink export with a reception at the Scotland Office in London.
MPs, members of the whisky industry and press were among those who attended the event, hosted by David Mundell, secretary of state for Scotland, and the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA).
Mundell told those gathered at Dover House in Whitehall that the UK government is committed to supporting the industry.
