Lining up expansion plan

A LINE cleaning firm has launched a major crowdfunding campaign to fund the next phase in its expansion.

FullClear, which works with global hotel brands and pub companies, aims to raise a minimum of £250,000 on the online funding platform Crowdcube and plans on using the investment to further its expansion in the UK and globally.

The firm claims its flagship line cleaner, also FullClear, allows licensees to clean their lines monthly instead of weekly. The product is currently being used by hospitality businesses that include Admiral Taverns, Hawthorn Leisure and Hilton UK.

Alex Murray, FullClear’s co-founder and chief executive (pictured), said: “Crowdfunding is a proven and modern approach to raising the capital we require to fund the next stage of our exciting growth journey.

“We’re excited that through the process we can build a loyal community of fans and investors that share our passion about quality beer and recognise us as the disruptive biotech business that we’re proud to be.

“Our research shows £1 billion a year is lost in beer waste through traditional line cleaning methods.

“FullClear has the commercial opportunity to save the UK industry alone some £700 million a year in waste.

“Most cleaning chemicals are ineffective meaning that lines have to be cleaned weekly.

“Through our independently verified tests we’ve proven you can safely extend the clean cycle from weekly to monthly.”
