New Deer, new owner?

The pub is currently wet-led

A PUB in New Deer, 30 miles north of Aberdeen, is up for sale after a decade of family ownership.

The Earl of Aberdeen Arms comprises a bar, function suite and five bedroom owner’s accommodation on the two floors above the business.

The premises is on the market for £200,000 to allow the current owners to retire.

Kevin Jackson, a senior associate at DM Hall, which is marketing the property, said: “This is an established family business which has been under its current ownership for the last ten years and enjoys a loyal local following.

“Income is primarily derived from wet sales with the annual barrellage in the region of 312 and there is scope to include food sales and letting rooms to increase turnover.

“This represents an outstanding opportunity for anyone considering a lifestyle change and relocation to a beautiful part of Aberdeenshire.”
