Historic inn is on the market

OPERATORS looking to acquire a hospitality business with some history might be interested in an East Neuk of Fife coaching inn.

Located five miles from St Andrews, The Inn at Lathones comprises a series of buildings – some of which date back over 400 years.

The business currently offers a lounge bar, a 34-cover restaurant, 21 bedrooms and The Stables function suite, located in the oldest part of the buildings, which has operated as a music venue as well as hosting small weddings, celebrations and party nights. There’s also a two-bedroom flat, which is currently used as staff accommodation.

The Inn at Lathones, which has been under the same ownership for 20 years and is currently run under management, is being marketed by DM Hall with a guide price of £795,000.

The firm’s Suzanne Lawrie said: “Ownership of this successful business offers an ideal opportunity for a couple or family to operate it hands on and to develop further the income and profits currently generated.”
