Course to help with vulnerable customers

A NEW online training course has been launched to help bar staff identify vulnerable customers in licensed premises.

Devised by CPL Training Group and alcohol charity Drinkaware, the e-learning course highlights the risks and vulnerabilities of customers and presents advice on how staff can help to prevent these customers from coming to harm.

“This course is about tackling the vulnerability that may arise when people have had too much to drink in a way that’s personable, goes with the grain of hospitality and with the ultimate aim of safeguarding customers out of harm’s way,” said CPL chief executive Daniel Davies.
