TWO established family businesses have joined forces to launch a new whisky bar in Edinburgh’s old town.
Ian Macleod Distillers, owner of the Glengoyne and Tamdhu single malts, teamed up with restaurateurs Victor and Carina Contini to open Cannonball Bar.
The new venue, which has a private event space called The Glengoyne Room, offers more than 120 malt whiskies alongside a “contemporary” food menu.
Carina Contini said both family businesses share the same “ethos and passion”.
