Holiday park changes hands

Wig Bay Holiday Park

A DUMFRIESSHIRE caravan park has changed hands for the first time in 16 years.
Wig Bay Holiday Park on the banks of Loch Ryan has been acquired by businessman Mark Seaton, who is said to own several parks in Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway, for an undisclosed sum.
The 12.8-acre site houses 168 static caravan pitches and 26 touring pitches. Facilities at the park include an indoor heated swimming pool, laundrette and children’s play area.
Selling agent Colliers International said the business had been marketed with a price tag of offers over £1.95 million.
Richard Moss, director of parks, sports and marinas at Colliers International, said: “A plan to create a further 22 pitches has previously been approved, which will provide further opportunities for growth under the new management of this highly-regarded park.”
