MICHELIN-starred chefs Chris and Jeff Galvin have announced the appointment of a new executive chef to oversee the kitchens at Edinburgh restaurants Galvin Brasserie de Luxe and The Pompadour by Galvin.
Fraser Allan took up his position last month working with the brothers in London before relocating to the Edinburgh venues, both of which are located at the five-star Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian.
Allan was previously head chef at Galvin Brasserie de Luxe, before briefly leaving the company. Jeff Galvin said: “I am thrilled to welcome Fraser back to the Galvin restaurants in Scotland. We worked particularly well together in the past when Fraser opened Galvin Brasserie de Luxe for us in Edinburgh in 2012, achieving a Michelin Bib Gourmand.”
