BREWDOG has appointed former G1 Group operations director David McDowall as managing director of its bars division in the UK.
McDowall, who oversaw more than 50 sites in Scotland during his six years in the role at G1, will now be responsible for growing and managing the Aberdeenshire firm’s UK bar business, which currently comprises 18 sites.
James Watt, co-founder of Brewdog, said: “It’s great to welcome such a powerhouse of the Scottish hospitality industry into the Brewdog fold. David has a killer business head and awesome strategic experience of growing a hugely successful bar division.”
