A NEW owner is being sought for a Highland fish and chip restaurant which is said to be a favourite with celebrities.
Christie & Co is marketing La Mirage restaurant and takeaway in Helmsdale, 70 miles north of Inverness.
The 45-cover outlet, which also has a takeaway business, is said to have been visited by Dame Barbara Cartland and chef Clarissa Dickson Wright.
The property also has spacious owner’s accommodation.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil said: “The business has been in our clients’ hands since 2003 and has continuously performed at impressive trading levels.
“Our clients now wish to sell in order to consider their retirement.”
