A FIFE hotel has changed hands in a deal brokered by chartered surveyors Shepherd.
Investment firm Kapital Assets is the new owner of the former Lundin Links Hotel, which ceased trading in January and was put on the market by liquidator French Duncan.
The C-listed three-storey property occupies a prominent corner site in the village of Lundin Links, which is 12 miles from St Andrews.
Jonathan Reid, commercial partner at Shepherd, said the property attracted a high level of interest.
“Given its prominent situation within the East Neuk of Fife, it was hardly surprising that much interest was generated in this property,” he said.
“We are delighted to secure this deal on behalf of the liquidator and welcome the positive impact the redevelopment of the property will have on the local economy.”
