WALLACES TCB has hosted its first trade shows since the formation of the company after Tennent’s owner C&C Group bought Wallaces Express earlier this year.
Over 50 suppliers are said to have attended each of the three shows alongside a number of Tennent Caledonian stands showcasing the firm’s new and existing products.
The trade shows were held at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen, Crown Plaza Hotel in Glasgow and Macrobert Pavilion, Ingliston, Edinburgh.
Matt Munro, on-trade sales director at Wallaces TCB, said the aim of the events was to showcase the wholesaler’s role as a “one stop” supplier, showing operators “what a multi-beverage, brand-led supplier looks and feels like”.
“We have only had positive responses from both Wallaces and Tennent’s customers about our plans and visions for the Wallaces TCB business,” said Munro.
“I think that customers really understand what we are trying to do and are genuinely excited about the prospect and the opportunities the new business provides.”
