THE Dalmore distillery has teamed up with Mirka Kohutova, mixologist at Jamie Oliver restaurant Barbecoa, to create a new Dalmore cocktail.
Called The Real Red Stag, the drink combines The Dalmore 15 with Bénédictine, raspberry syrup, lemon and aromatic bitters.
Kohutova said she wanted the drink to highlight the dram’s “intense flavours”.
“This is a simple cocktail in that it uses few ingredients, but key to its success is getting the balance of flavours just right,” she said.
The Dalmore’s master distiller Richard Paterson commended Kohutova for her “creativity and craftsmanship”.
