DRINKS importer and producer CWF has extended its Casa Gheller Prosecco range with the introduction of a new rosé variant.
Made from a blend of white and red grapes, the 11.5% ABV Casa Gheller Rosé Cuvee Brut is said to have a “flowery bouquet” with “delicate notes” of golden apple and “fragrant mountain flowers”.
Tasting notes for the wine describe it as dry, fresh and zesty with a “fruity and harmonious aftertaste”.
The rosé, which is available in a 75cl bottle, is said to be an “excellent aperitif”, which pairs well with fish and seafood dishes.
Amy Ledger, marketing manager at CWF, said consumer interest and demand for Prosecco “shows no signs of abating”.
“Our Prosecco sales are increasing year on year and look set to continue both in the on and off-trades,” she said.
“This new Casa Gheller Rosé is a fantastic product and offers something a little different for a Prosecco-loving consumer to try.”
The Casa Gheller Prosecco range is produced at the Casa Gheller winery in the Prosecco region of Veneto, Italy.
