Glen Grant is worth the wait

A CASK that was hand-filled in 1963 by Dennis Malcolm of the Glen Grant distillery is ready for public consumption.

Just 150 bottles of the Glen Grant 50 year old have been made available.
The limited edition whisky is presented in a hand-blown crystal decanter designed as a replica of Glen Grant’s pot stills.
Each bottle of Glen Grant 50 year old comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Dennis Malcolm, now the master distiller at Glen Grant.
Commenting on the new release, Malcolm said “maturation cannot be rushed”.
“Like people, casks mature at their own pace,” he said.
“I have protected and cared for this barrel for 50 years.”
