THE firm behind Edinburgh Gin has unveiled the latest flavoured variant to join its portfolio.
Edinburgh Gin’s Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur is a 20% ABV gin liqueur which is said to combine Scottish rhubarb and Asian ginger with Edinburgh Gin.
Spencerfield Spirit Company said the liqueur can be served as a long drink with soda, tonic, lemonade or sparkling wine. It joins Edinburgh Gin, Cannonball Gin, Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Liqueur and Elderflower Liqueur in the portfolio.
Alex Nicol, managing director of Spencerfield Spirit Company, said the firm “wanted to produce a gin that was native to Scotland to add to our collection”.
“Rhubarb and Ginger is a great addition to the Edinburgh Gin range and we’re sure it is going to prove very popular alongside the other flavours in the range,” he said.
